Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf: What makes it different?

What Makes It Better?

My reason to stop at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf before considering other coffee spots is their fruit based teas. Flavored and blended by hand, the elixirs have just the right blend of tea sparked with fruity enhancements.

Tea Selections

Their tea selections exceed far beyond their competition. Rasberry Ceylon, Pomegranate Blueberry or Orange Blossom Oolong are just a few of the blends that keep me going back. Their cocoa and vanilla powders also get rave reviews along with their popular blended beverages.

Nutritional Facts

CBTL also post nutritional facts on their website which is a plus. The coffee and tea industry is big business, so in order to remain at the top, there has to be consistent quality, in stores and at home. CBTL stays consistent with products, service and new blends.

The CBTL® Single Serve Beverage System

This is an extension of their passion bringing CBTL coffee and teas into the home.

What Products and Companies are Similar?

Most popular coffee establishments have it perfected when it comes to quality control. Successful companies in the arena are all commited to local and global social responsibility, excellent websites and tasting programs.

Caribou Coffee

Caribou Coffee stands out with its home delivery program. Caribou also has a “Coffee of the Month” program where one can design coffee selections and decide when and where it should be delivered. This is a great perk for the office and a wonderful way to get a discount on shipping costs.

Peet's

Peet’s Coffee has it all covered from a powerful, informative website to the best in the business for global and local initiatives. Peet’s recycling program stashes away coffee grinds past the freshness date, called misgrinds, and donates the goods to homeless shelters and local food banks. Also,Peet’s ECup is a clever marketing strategy, where a one can purchase a cup online, email it out to a friend who copies the certificate and uses it in any store. Peet’s has a nice USDA organic blend coffee as well. Peet’s doesn’t compete with the single serve KCup® which may eventually cause a slight drop in sales from other competitors.

Starbucks

Starbucks is always tough competition for any coffee house. Like most coffee establishments, free wi-fi is a big draw to grab a cup of joe. The Starbuck App is exceptional because one can purchase a drink with the IPhone App and reboot it when needed. Starbuck’s Via Instant coffee blends are unique and very popular.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf: Customer reviews & comments

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf shines with success and remains high on the list for quality and local taste. Customers rave about their lattes with special blends, frozen concoctions and specialized tea blends. Blended beverages do taste a bit too sweet for many latte drinkers, but the sweet craving might be what keeps them going back. Yelp reviewer Lisa S., San Raphael, Ca. commented, “Probably the BEST Dark Chocolate Latte ever. Service was great, atmosphere good for people watching and free wi-fi, too.” That probably sums it up when it comes to a great coffee spot.
